Focus Matrix Is Now Glento — Same Eisenhower Matrix App, New Name
If you're seeing this because of a "Learn more" link in the app, or because you searched for Focus Matrix and landed somewhere new — here's the short version first, then the details.
Focus Matrix is now Glento. Same app. Same Eisenhower Matrix. Same team. Just a new name.
The short version
- Same subscription. Your Pro plan, price, and billing cycle carry over exactly as they were. Nothing renews differently, nothing charges differently.
- Same data. Every task, quadrant, note, and recurring item is exactly where you left it.
- Same login. Sign in with the same email, same password, same Google/Apple/Facebook account you've always used.
- Same app icon. We didn't touch it — if you're looking for it on your home screen, it looks exactly like it did yesterday, just with a new name underneath.
- Nothing you need to do. No re-download, no re-subscribe, no account migration. Just open the app (or your browser) like normal.
That's it. That's the whole disruption.
What's actually changing
Two things, and only two things:
- The name. "Focus Matrix" (and "Focus Matrix Pro" for existing subscribers) is now Glento, everywhere you see it — the app itself, the App Store and Google Play listings, and any emails or receipts going forward.
- The website. Our home on the web moves to glento.ai, and the web app moves to app.glento.ai. If you have the old address bookmarked, it will forward you straight to the new one — no dead links, no lost bookmarks.
Everything else — the matrix, the quadrants, the way you sort what's urgent from what's important, the features you already rely on — is completely unchanged.
If you use a voice assistant to open the app on Android, say "open Glento" going forward — "open Focus Matrix" won't find it anymore under the new name. (iOS users: Siri still understands both names, so no change needed there.)
Why we renamed
Nothing dramatic here. "Focus Matrix" is a descriptive, generic-sounding name, which means it was never fully ours — there are other "Focus Matrix" apps out there, which made us hard to find and easy to confuse with something else when people searched for us by name.
Glento is a name that's actually ours: nothing else out there, nothing to confuse it with, and it's ours to build on for the long run. It's the same app and the same team behind it — we just finally have a name that's exclusively our own.
One app, every device — just a new name on it
Glento is available exactly where Focus Matrix was:
- iOS — App Store
- Android — Google Play
- Web — app.glento.ai
Your account is the same account across all three. Log in anywhere with the same credentials and everything is right where you left it — tasks, quadrants, recurring items, and your subscription.
