Glento Pro

Connections need cloud sync, which comes with Pro. Free accounts and the trial do not include sync.

Both apply together, the same way cloud sync works everywhere else in Glento.

Works with any assistant that accepts a custom connection. Setup steps for the most common ones are below.

  1. Add the connection

    Add Glento to your assistant using the address above. Steps for each one are below.

  2. Sign in and allow

    Sign in to Glento, review what the assistant is asking for, and allow it.

  3. Ask for your day

    “What should I do first today?” It reads your synced matrix and can add, move or complete tasks.

Setup by assistant

Claude (web and desktop)
Open Customize, then Connectors. Choose “Add custom connector”, paste the address, and add it. Sign in when asked.
Claude Code
Run the command below, then type /mcp and sign in from the browser it opens.

Add Glento to ~/.cursor/mcp.json with the address as its URL, then sign in from Settings, Tools & MCP.

ChatGPT
Open Settings, then Security and login, and turn on Developer mode (Pro, Plus, Business, Enterprise and Education, on the web). Create a developer-mode app with the address as the server and OAuth as the authentication, then sign in. In a chat, open the plus menu, choose Developer mode and pick Glento.
VS Code
Add to VS Code
Open the Command Palette, run “MCP: Add Server”, choose HTTP and paste the address, or add it to .vscode/mcp.json. VS Code asks you to sign in when the server starts.

Windsurf
Open Settings, then Cascade, then MCP Servers, and add it to ~/.codeium/windsurf/mcp_config.json. Sign in when prompted.

ZapierBeta

Create tasks from email, forms or calendars, and push finished work back out. Private beta: add Glento to your Zapier account with the invite link.

  1. Accept the invite

    Open the invite link while signed in to Zapier. Glento appears in your apps.

  2. Connect your account

    Sign in to Glento and allow Zapier. A Pro subscription is required.

  3. Build a Zap

    Pick what starts it and what happens next. Two triggers, four actions and a search are available.

You choose what changes

A connected assistant or Zap can read, create, change, complete and delete synced tasks. Review what you allow an assistant to do and what you set a Zap to do. Only connect apps you trust.

Recurring task completion and changes to repeat settings are not supported yet. Free accounts and the trial do not include cloud sync, so these connections require a paid Pro subscription.
